Bernice
 

Bernice Garfield (President): A counselor in private practice in Marlboro, Bernice has taught art & drama and uses psychodrama in her work. She has lent her acting and directing talents to several Center Players productions and is Chair of the Programs Committee.

Mark
 

Mark Lamhut (Vice-President): Mark, A lifelong resident of Freehold, is VP of Paul-Mark Printing. He is active in numerous non-profit organizations. Mark has been Center Players' resident photographer since the opening of the Center Playhouse, and serves on the Communications Committee.

Shirley Lamhut (Interim Treasurer): Shirley is a retired owner of Paul-Mark Printing. She handled bookkeeping operations for more than 60 years of her life. A resident of Freehold Township since 1953, and a patron of Center Players since Crossing Delancey ten years ago, she is happy to join Center Players as the interim Treasurer.

Fern Marder
 

Fern Marder (Secretary): Fern is the owner of Megapodium Communications, a marketing communications, public relations, website administration and social media strategy company. Fern brings previous experience as a board member for a local community theater company to Center Players and can be seen either onstage or behind the scenes for many of our productions. She is also a Reiki Master and Teacher for Reiki Center USA.

DIRECTORS:

Colleen DeFelice: Colleen is a retired Flight Attendant having flown for both Eastern and United Airlines. She also has a background in broadcasting and public relations. Her involvement with Center Players is both as an actor and off stage, assisting with costuming, set dressing, stage managing, and other roles as needed. Colleen brings her love of theater and superior organizational skills to any task she applies herself to.

Annie Flanagan Annie Flanagan: Annie is the Firm Administrator of a local accounting firm.  She has a strong and diverse background in managing small and large businesses, including bookkeeping and financial reporting. While Annie enjoys helping in her many roles behind the scenes she is also fond of performing on the Center Players Stage.

Anthony Greco: Anthony is the resident director at Monmouth Regional High School in Tinton Falls and currently serves as the Artistic Director for Center Drama in Deal, NJ. Anthony's knowledge of theatre is only surpassed by his exhuberance to theatre. He keeps himself busy, generally working on two or three productions a one time!

Fran
 

Fran Marshall: Fran has lived and worked in the Freehold area for 40 years and has been active in community life since day one. Her experience as a volunteer and as both administrator and program coordinator with Battleground Arts Center makes her a perfect fit as Coordinator of Volunteers for Center Players.

Louis Palermo : Louis has been involved in theater since early childhood in his native Italy. He has appeared in numerous productions as an actor, director and stage manager. He also feels comfortable building sets. Louis lives in Freehold, where he owns and operates a beauty salon. When he is not on stage, you can find him at the theater door greeting everyone.

Ray Ruiz: Ray is a retired math teacher and coach, from the Monroe Twp. School District.. With CP Ray has painted sets, moved scenery and acted, but he can be primarily seen in the tech room. Ray loves to sing and is currently in a classic rock band named LEGACY. Ray also sings and does vocal arrangements for a do op group called the ECHOS. Ray lives in Monroe Twp. with his wife Brenda.
Judy Spiegel: Judy has been working with Center Players since 2004 when she played Carmen in Real Women Have Curves. From that moment on she began helping behind the scenes, and joining us on stage in other productions as well. Currently Judy manages our database and has just taken on the role of Play Reading committee chair. When she is not pursuing her passion of theater Judy is a meeting/event planner. She is ever grateful for her husband’s support and her daughter’s shared passion for theater!

Bob Szita: As Co-Director of Contemporary Counseling Center of Marlboro and a Certified Psycho dramatist, Bob uses roleplaying to assist people in coping with life's transitions. Bob is often seen working off-stage and is Chair of Center Players' House Committee.
