Visiting Mr. Green is a comedy/drama about the friendship that develops between the elderly Mr. Green (Jack Rosmarin) and 29-year-old corporate executive, Ross Gardiner (Michael Quirk).  The two are thrown together when the younger man is assigned community service in the form of helping the recently widowed Mr. Green after nearly running him over in New York traffic.  What starts as a resentful, but humorous exchange, develops into a relationship of caring and respect as the two men come to terms with the wounds of their respective pasts and make new discoveries about themselves, their beliefs, and their capacity for understanding and forgiveness.

Visiting Mr. Green premiered in 1996 at the Berkshire Theatre Festival in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, with Eli Wallach in the role of Mr. Green.  The play has been translated into 22 languages and has earned multiple best play and best actor awards around the globe.

Produced by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc.
